Hot Stone : A relaxation massage with gliding strokes to relax soft tissue with heated rocks. This stroke involves kneading, rolling, and squeezing with the hands.Techniques involve stretching, pressure point, re- balancing, and muscle release with increase of blood flow.
Deep Tissue : A restorative massage to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and injuries. It involves sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue and tension.
Cupping (glass, plastic) : Glass cups will be lit onto a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol and quickly inserting the flame into the cup and placed on stiff muscles. Plastic cups are done without fire and used with a tool for suctioning with pulling the skin upward for a few minutes. This suction force expands and breaks open tiny blood vessels under the skin that helps with circulation and increased range of motion. (swelling occurs)
